Bounce houses are not one-size-fits-all. The right unit depends on how old the kids are, how many will be bouncing at once, and how much yard you have to work with.
13x13 standard
Ages 3 to 10
The bread-and-butter size for Miami backyard birthdays. Holds 6 to 8 kids with a 150-pound individual weight cap. Fits in roughly 15x15 feet of clear ground with 16 feet of vertical clearance.
Toddler bounce house
Ages 1 to 4
Low walls so parents can see in and reach kids easily. Softer, lower bounce floor tuned for smaller bodies. Mesh windows on all sides for airflow and visibility. Sets up in about 15 minutes.
15x15 themed / deluxe
Ages 3 to 12
A step up with room for a few more jumpers and a slightly taller ceiling. Themed units (Princess Carriage, Unicorn, Sports Arena) fall into this range. Budget an extra two feet on each side.
Jumbo obstacle / combo
Ages 6 to 14
The 30-foot Jumbo Obstacle has pop-ups, a climbing wall, and a slide exit. Titanium Tower Combo adds a basketball hoop and water slide exit. Needs 35x15 feet of clear ground with 20 feet of vertical clearance.
Height and weight limits: every unit has a posted maximum occupancy, minimum rider height, and maximum per-rider weight. A laminated rules card stays attached to the entrance, and our delivery crew walks you through the limits at setup.
How We Keep Miami Kids Bouncing Safely
Every inflatable in our fleet goes through a strict cleaning and inspection cycle between rentals. That process is how we still carry a perfect 5.0 rating after thousands of Miami parties.
Full sanitization between every rental. Every bounce house returns to our Kendall warehouse, gets fully deflated, and gets scrubbed with commercial-grade disinfectant on every interior and exterior surface: jumping floor, inside walls, entrance ramp, mesh windows, and safety netting. The unit is then dried completely in the sun before it goes back on the truck.
Pre-delivery inspection. Before a unit leaves our facility, a team member checks vinyl seams, stitching integrity, blower function, anchor points, and electrical cords. Anything with visible wear gets pulled from rotation and repaired or replaced before it goes to another party.
Proper anchoring on every surface. On grass we use 18-inch steel stakes driven deep and rated for the unit's wind load. On concrete, pavers, driveways, or indoor surfaces we use 75-pound sandbags on every anchor point. No shortcuts, no compromises. The install crew tests stability before they leave your property.
Grounded electrical. Every blower is GFCI-protected on a grounded extension cord routed away from foot traffic and standing water. We bring the cord; you supply one standard 15-amp household outlet within 50 feet of the setup spot.
Supervision requirements. A sober adult supervisor must watch the bouncer whenever kids are on it. We enforce one age group at a time (a two-year-old should not be bouncing with a ten-year-old), no shoes, no food, no drinks, no silly string, no sharp objects. For parties of 25 kids or more, we can schedule a trained attendant for an additional fee.
Delivery and Setup: Included in All Rentals
From the moment you book to the moment we pick up, here is exactly what happens.
Booking and confirmation. Reserve online or call (786) 789-1900. A small refundable deposit locks your date. We confirm within an hour during business hours.
Day-before text. The night before your party we text you a two-hour delivery window and your driver's name, so there are no surprises in the morning.
Setup. The crew arrives inside your window, walks the setup area with you, clears debris, lays a protective ground tarp, unrolls the unit, and inflates. A standard bounce house setup takes 20 to 30 minutes. We test the bouncer, walk you through the rules card, and get your signature on the rental agreement.
Party time. The bounce house is yours for the full rental window, typically eight hours. The blower stays plugged in and running the entire time. If your event is at a park or venue without power, we rent a whisper-quiet generator for $65.
Pickup. At the agreed end time, our crew returns, deflates, rolls, loads, and leaves the setup area exactly the way we found it. You don't lift a finger.
Space and clearance. A 13x13 bounce house needs roughly 15x15 feet of clear, level ground with 16 feet of vertical clearance, away from trees, power lines, fences, and overhanging structures. Can a bounce house be set up on concrete, pavers, or a driveway?+
Yes. On hard surfaces we anchor with 75-pound sandbags at every attachment point instead of stakes. Driveways, pavers, pool decks, and firm indoor surfaces all work. The only surfaces we cannot set up on safely are steep slopes, loose gravel, and wet mud. Text us a photo of the setup area at (786) 789-1900 and we will confirm before you book.
Do I need a permit for a bounce house in Miami?+
Not on private property. Your backyard, driveway, or community clubhouse (with HOA permission) does not require a permit. For Miami-Dade Parks locations you do need a park reservation and must use a parks-approved vendor. We are approved and we file the vendor paperwork on your behalf. Call us before you book the park so we can sync on dates and on which units fit your chosen park's space.
What happens if it rains on party day?+
Light rain is fine. The vinyl is weatherproof and kids usually love bouncing in a drizzle. We pause the bouncer for lightning within six miles or sustained winds over 25 mph, then resume when conditions clear. If a named storm or a National Weather Service warning forces a cancellation, we reschedule at no charge or refund your deposit.
Do I need to provide power for the blower?+
Most backyard and clubhouse setups run off a single standard household outlet (15-amp, within 50 feet of the setup spot). We bring the extension cord. At parks and venues without power we rent a whisper-quiet generator for $65 that runs the blower all day on a single tank of gas.
How far in advance should I book a bounce house in Miami?+
For weekends during peak season (March through October, plus December holiday parties), we recommend booking three to four weeks ahead. Popular themed units like the Princess Carriage, Unicorn, and Titanium Tower Combo routinely sell out four to six weeks in advance. Weekday parties can often be booked with 48 hours notice, and we book same-day when units are available.
Can I keep the bounce house overnight?+
Yes, we offer overnight rentals for an additional fee. The bouncer must be deflated overnight for safety, and we show you the simple shut-down process at setup. We pick up the next morning during your agreed window. Overnight works well for school events, church festivals, and two-day family gatherings.
