Miami's Go-To Water Slide Rentals

Nothing cools down a Miami afternoon like a 22-foot inflatable water slide in the backyard and a line of kids in swimsuits waiting their turn. At Disco Party Rentals, we have been turning Miami birthdays, end-of-school bashes, Fourth of July cookouts, and church summer kickoffs into the kind of day kids talk about all year. We're a Latino-owned, family-run company based in Kendall at 14840 SW 157th Terrace, a Miami-Dade Parks approved vendor, and we carry a perfect 5.0 Google rating. Delivery, setup, and water hookup are included in all rentals across our service area. Se habla español.

Looking for a bounce area and a slide in one unit? Our bounce house and water slide combo gives you both starting at $225, with wet or dry operation.

Call (786) 789-1900 or book online to lock in your water slide today.

Miami Summers Are Built for Water Slides

Miami doesn't really have a summer season — it has an eight-month one. From the moment school lets out in early June through October, afternoon highs run 88–92 degrees with humidity that makes a dry bounce house feel like an oven. That's exactly when a water slide becomes the smartest rental on your list.

Our busiest water slide months are May through September, and Memorial Day, the last week of June, the Fourth of July, and back-to-school weekend routinely book out 4–6 weeks in advance. We still take winter rentals — Miami stays 75–80 degrees most of January — but for December–February bookings we'll give you an honest read on the forecast the week of.

Afternoon thunderstorms are part of the deal from June through September. Our water slides are commercial-grade vinyl with welded seams, so light rain is fine. Lightning within six miles is not — we pause and resume as needed, and if a named storm forces a cancellation we reschedule at no charge.

Wet or Dry? Our Water Slides Work Both Ways

Most of the inflatables in our water slide lineup are engineered as dual-use wet/dry units — the same slide you rent for a July pool party can be delivered without the hose hookup and run completely dry for a January birthday.

  • Run it wet. We connect a standard garden hose to the slide's built-in water line, feeding a misting bar at the top and a splash pool at the bottom. Kids come down on a continuous sheet of water.
  • Run it dry. Without the hookup, the same slide becomes a bouncing climb-and-slide platform. Great for winter months, indoor venues, and kids who would rather stay in their clothes. Dry use does not change the rental price.
  • Dedicated water slides. A few models — our biggest 22-foot units in particular — are built as dedicated water slides with deeper pools and a steeper drop, and are not recommended for dry use.

Pick the Right Size for Your Kids' Ages

Water slides are sized by the height of the climb tower, and the right size depends almost entirely on the ages of the kids at your party.

14-foot slides

Ages 3–8

Gentle climb, wide lane, shallow splash pool. Parents can stand at the top. Fits most standard Miami backyards (≈ 25×12 ft with 16 ft clearance).

17-foot slides

Ages 5–12

The everyday sweet spot. Switchback climb, faster drop, fits the average backyard. Mixed age groups all have a great time on it.

22-foot and up

Ages 7+

Steep climb, long lane, deeper pool. A 22-foot unit needs ≈ 35×15 ft with 25 ft of vertical clearance — check your yard first.

Height and weight limits: 36" minimum rider height on 14-foot units, 42" on 17-foot, and 48" on 22-foot and above. A laminated rules card stays on every slide.

How We Keep Miami Kids Sliding Safely

Water adds a whole new set of safety considerations on top of a dry inflatable, and we take all of them seriously. That's how we still carry a perfect 5.0 rating after thousands of Miami parties.

Daily cleaning and sanitization. Every water slide returns to our Kendall warehouse, gets drained, and gets scrubbed with commercial-grade disinfectant on every surface — climb, slide lane, inside walls, pool floor, and safety netting — then dried fully in the sun before the next booking.

Non-slip surfaces and shallow pool. Our slides are manufactured with textured landing zones and non-slip footholds on the climb. The splash pool holds 10–14 inches of water — deep enough for a fun splash, shallow enough that a kid who lands sideways still has their head well above water.

Inspection, anchoring, and grounded electrical. Before a unit leaves our facility a team member checks seams, blower, water line, anchors, and cords. On grass we use 18-inch steel stakes; on pavers or concrete we use 75-pound sandbags on every anchor point. Every blower is GFCI-protected on a grounded extension cord routed away from standing water.

Supervision. A sober adult supervisor must watch the slide whenever kids are on it. We require one rider at a time, no running up the climb, no shoes, no food, no silly string. For parties of 25 kids or more, we can schedule a trained attendant for an additional fee.

Delivery, Setup, and What Your Water Hookup Needs

Booking and confirmation. Reserve online or call (786) 789-1900. A small refundable deposit locks your date. The night before your party we text you a two-hour delivery window and your driver's name.

Setup. The crew arrives inside your window, walks the setup area with you, clears debris, lays a protective tarp, unrolls, and inflates. A water slide setup takes 30–45 minutes depending on size. We connect the water line, test with the hose running, and walk you through the rules.

Water hookup requirements. We need one standard outdoor garden hose spigot within 50 feet of the setup spot. We bring the 50-foot commercial hose and the adapter. It runs continuously while the slide is in use — a fine mist plus a splash-pool fill, not a high-pressure stream. Standard Miami-Dade municipal pressure (40–60 psi) is more than enough; well water works if it sustains continuous flow.

Drainage. At pickup we drain the splash pool onto the lawn or a nearby storm drain — clean municipal tap water, safe for grass. Expect a wet patch for an hour or two. We don't recommend draining over a garden bed or wood deck.

Space and clearance. 14-foot: ~25×12 ft / 16 ft vertical. 17-foot: ~30×13 ft / 20 ft. 22-foot: ~35×15 ft / 25 ft — clear of palm fronds, awnings, carport roofs, and power lines. Text a photo of the yard to (786) 789-1900 and we'll confirm fit before you book.

Power and pickup. Most setups run off a standard household outlet (15-amp, within 50 feet — we bring the cord). At parks without power we rent a whisper-quiet generator for $65. At the agreed end time we return, deflate, drain, and leave the setup area as we found it.

Water Slide Rental FAQ

How much does a water slide rental cost in Miami?+

14-foot water slides start at $225 for a standard 8-hour rental, 17-foot units start at $275, and 22-foot and larger units start at $375. Every price includes delivery, setup, water hookup, and pickup inside our Miami service area. Bounce-and-slide combos start at $225 and are the best value for most summer parties. Weekend pricing matches weekday pricing on most units, and multi-day rates are available on request.

Can I run the water slide dry?+

Yes, most of our units are dual-use. The same slide can be delivered without the hose hookup and used as a dry climb-and-slide inflatable — that's how most of our customers book during the cooler winter months or at indoor venues. A few of our largest 22-foot units are dedicated water slides with deeper pools and are not recommended for dry use. Call (786) 789-1900 if you want the dual-use option confirmed for a specific model.

What water hookup do I need, and how much water does a slide use?+

One standard outdoor garden hose spigot within 50 feet of the setup spot. We bring the hose and the adapter — no plumbing work, no pumps, no special fittings. Normal Miami-Dade municipal pressure (40–60 psi) is more than enough. Total water use is roughly equivalent to running a sprinkler for the same amount of time, and the splash pool drains cleanly onto the lawn at pickup.

What ages and heights are the water slides safe for?+

Every slide has a minimum rider height and a maximum per-rider weight: 36 inches for 14-foot units, 42 inches for 17-foot, and 48 inches for 22-foot and above. We recommend 14-foot for ages 3–8, 17-foot for ages 5–12, and 22-foot and larger for ages 7 and up. A supervising adult must watch the slide whenever kids are on it, and we enforce one rider at a time on the slide lane.

Do I need a permit to rent a water slide in Miami?+

Not if you're setting up on private property — backyard, driveway, or community clubhouse (with HOA permission). For Miami-Dade Parks locations you do need a park reservation and must use a parks-approved vendor. We are approved and we file the vendor paperwork on your behalf. Call us before you book the park so we can sync on dates and on which units fit your chosen park's space.

What happens if it rains or a storm rolls in on party day?+

Light rain is fine — the vinyl is weatherproof and kids usually love it. We pause the slide for lightning within six miles or sustained winds over 25 mph, then resume when conditions clear. If a named storm or NWS warning forces a cancellation, we reschedule at no charge or refund your deposit.

How much space does a water slide need in my yard?+

A 14-foot slide needs about 25×12 feet with 16 feet of vertical clearance. A 17-foot needs 30×13 with 20 feet of clearance. A 22-foot needs 35×15 with 25 feet of clearance — clear of palm fronds, branches, awnings, carport roofs, and power lines. Text us a photo of the yard at (786) 789-1900 and we will confirm fit before you book.

How far in advance should I book a water slide for a Miami summer party?+

For weekends in May through September, book 4–6 weeks ahead. Memorial Day weekend, the last week of June, the Fourth of July, and the back-to-school weekend in mid-August sell out earliest — book those 6–8 weeks out if you can. Weekday parties can often be booked with 48 hours notice, and we book same-day water slides when units are available.
