Your Backyard, Our Private Cinema

Our outdoor movie screen package turns any backyard, patio, or park field into a private cinema. The full setup includes a massive 16-foot inflatable screen (12-foot viewable area), an HD 1080p projector with 4,000+ lumens, professional outdoor speakers, and all the cables you need. Our crew arrives before sunset, inflates the screen, mounts the projector, tests the sound, and walks you through the controls. When your 4-hour rental ends, we return, break everything down, and haul it away.

The package is $345 for 4 hours with delivery, setup, and teardown included across our core Miami-Dade service area. Pair it with a popcorn machine ($75) for the full cinema experience, or add chairs ($2 each) if your guests prefer seats over blankets. Planning a birthday? The movie screen works as the main event for a kids birthday party paired with a bounce house for pre-movie energy. Call (786) 789-1900 or book online. Se habla español.

Equipment Breakdown

16ft Inflatable Screen

The screen is a commercial inflatable frame that inflates in under 5 minutes via a built-in blower. The viewable projection surface is 12 feet diagonal with a matte white finish optimized for outdoor projection. The inflatable frame holds the screen taut regardless of light wind, and the weighted base keeps it stable on grass or patio surfaces. Visible clearly from up to 40 feet away, it fills a backyard far better than a portable pull-down screen.

HD 1080p Projector (4,000+ Lumens)

Our projector outputs full HD 1080p resolution at 4,000+ lumens. That is bright enough to produce a clear, vivid image after sunset without any competing ambient light. Colors are accurate, text is sharp, and motion is smooth for action movies and sports alike. The projector accepts HDMI input from any streaming stick (Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV), laptop, gaming console, or phone with an HDMI adapter. We position and focus the projector during setup so you get a perfectly framed image from the first frame.

Professional Outdoor Speakers

The speaker system is sized for outdoor use where sound dissipates without walls to contain it. It comfortably fills a standard Miami backyard (up to 50 to 60 guests) with clear dialogue and full-range audio. Volume is adjustable, so you can keep neighbors happy while still giving your guests an immersive experience. The speakers connect directly to the projector audio output; no Bluetooth pairing or extra setup is needed.

Setup Requirements

Space: You need a flat, clear area at least 20 feet wide and 25 feet long. The screen sits at one end, the projector mounts about 15 feet back, and guests sit or lay between the projector and the screen. Grass, patio, driveway, or pool deck all work.

Power: Two standard 110V outlets within 50 feet of the setup area. One powers the screen blower, the other powers the projector and speakers. If the outlets are on the same circuit, that works fine. For park setups without power, we rent generators for $75.

Timing: Our crew arrives 30 to 45 minutes before your chosen start time. We inflate the screen during daylight, test the projector and audio, confirm your HDMI source works, and leave you ready to press play as darkness falls.

Seating: Most families use blankets, bean bags, and lawn chairs. If you want uniform seating, add our white folding chairs ($2 each) arranged in rows. For a premium feel, rent a few tables for snacks and drinks alongside the seating.

Daytime vs. Nighttime Viewing

After sunset (recommended): The projector delivers its best image once ambient light drops. In Miami, sunset ranges from about 5:30 PM in December to 8:15 PM in June. Plan your start time for 15 to 30 minutes after sunset for ideal conditions. Evening screenings are the most popular for family movie nights, neighborhood watch parties, and romantic date nights.

Shaded daytime: If your event runs during the day, you can still use the screen under a 20x20 High Peak Tent ($350) or a covered patio that blocks direct sunlight. The 4,000-lumen projector handles shaded environments well, though contrast will not match nighttime quality. This works for kids birthday parties where the movie is one activity among several.

Transition events: Many parties start with daytime activities (bounce house, water slide, games) and transition to the movie after sunset. Our crew can arrive during the party to set up the screen while kids are still bouncing, then hand off control when you are ready to start the film.

Event Ideas

Family movie night: Pick a crowd-pleasing animated film, spread blankets on the lawn, and let the kids stay up past bedtime. The novelty of a giant outdoor screen makes even a movie they have seen before feel like an event.

Birthday party feature film: Use the movie as the grand finale after a bounce house, games, and cake. Start the party at 5 PM, play until sunset, then transition to the movie for the last hour. Guest parents love the built-in wind-down.

Neighborhood block party: Set up the screen in a cul-de-sac or common area. One screen can entertain 50+ neighbors. Combine with concession machines for a carnival atmosphere.

Watch parties: Stream live sports (Super Bowl, World Cup, UFC), award shows, or season premieres. HDMI input means anything you can stream on a laptop or Fire Stick plays on the big screen.

Holiday movie marathon: Halloween horror night, Christmas classics in December, or a New Year countdown with a midnight movie. The screen works year-round in Miami weather.

Add Snacks & Concessions

A movie without popcorn is just a video on a big screen. Add our popcorn machine ($75) and you have a real cinema experience. The buttery smell alone sets the mood before the opening credits roll.

For summer screenings, add a snow cone machine ($75) so guests can cool off between scenes. For kids parties, the cotton candy machine ($75) doubles as entertainment and dessert.

Movie night snack combo: Rent the outdoor movie screen ($345) plus the popcorn machine ($75) for $420 total. Everything arrives on the same truck and gets set up together. The popcorn machine runs on its own outlet, so make sure you have a third circuit available or use our generator ($75).

Want the full package? Combine the movie screen with a bounce house for pre-movie energy, a popcorn machine for snacks, and folding chairs for seating. Call (786) 789-1900 and we will build a custom quote for your event.

Outdoor Movie Night FAQ

You provide the venue (backyard, patio, or park field), two standard 110V electrical outlets within 50 feet of the setup area, and a clear flat space of at least 20 feet wide by 25 feet long. You also provide the content: bring a Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, laptop, or phone with an HDMI adapter. We provide the screen, projector, speakers, all cables, and professional setup and teardown.

The projector is rated at 4,000+ lumens, which is bright enough for shaded daytime viewing under a tent or covered patio. However, the best image quality is after sunset when ambient light drops. For a standard open-air backyard setup, we recommend starting your movie at dusk or later. Our crew arrives 30 to 45 minutes before your chosen start time to inflate the screen and calibrate the projector while there is still daylight.

The 16-foot inflatable screen with a 12-foot viewable area is clearly visible from up to 40 feet away. In a typical backyard setup, 30 to 60 guests can watch comfortably with blankets, lawn chairs, or folding chairs arranged in rows. The professional speakers fill a backyard easily without disturbing neighbors at reasonable volume levels. For larger groups (60+), guests farther back may prefer to bring their own seating for a better sightline.

The projector has an HDMI input that accepts any device with HDMI output. Common setups include: a Roku or Fire Stick plugged directly into the projector for streaming (Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube), a laptop with an HDMI cable for downloaded movies, or a phone with a Lightning-to-HDMI or USB-C-to-HDMI adapter. We test the connection during setup so you know everything works before your guests arrive.

If light rain starts mid-movie, the equipment can handle a brief drizzle, but we recommend pausing and covering the projector until it passes. For heavy rain or lightning, the equipment must be powered down for safety. If a storm is forecast before your event begins, we will contact you to discuss rescheduling at no charge. Miami afternoon thunderstorms typically clear by sunset, so evening movie nights are rarely affected. If a named storm forces cancellation, we reschedule or refund your deposit.
