Everything a Backyard Quince Needs, One Delivery

A quinceañera is not just a birthday party; it is the entrance, the father-daughter vals, the corte de honor, the surprise dance, the brindis, and a seated dinner for everyone from abuela to the youngest cousins. Pulling that off in a Miami backyard takes real infrastructure, and that is exactly what we rent. Disco Party Rentals is a family-owned, Latino-owned company with a 5.0 Google rating, and we have set up quinces across Miami-Dade for years. Se habla español.

The anchor of every backyard quince is the tent. Our 20x20 High Peak Tent gives you 400 square feet with a soaring 14-foot peak: enough room for the vals with the court of honor, then a seated dinner for up to 40 guests once the tables move back in. The 20x10 Canopy handles the buffet line, the cake table, and the recuerdos. Add round tables, chairs, and floor-length linens and the backyard starts looking like a ballroom.

Round out the setup with 30-inch cocktail highboys for a mocktail hour while the quinceañera finishes photos, a battery-powered Soundboks speaker for the entrances and the surprise dance, and a popcorn or snow cone machine to keep the younger primos happy through the speeches. Delivery, setup, and pickup are included across our core Miami-Dade service area, so the family spends the day getting ready, not hauling tables.

How Much to Rent for Your Guest List

Quinceañera guest lists grow fast once the tías start RSVPing for the whole family. Here is an honest planning guide based on the inventory we actually carry: one 20x20 High Peak Tent, one 20x10 Canopy, up to 10 round tables, up to 20 rectangular tables, and up to 100 chairs.

GuestsShade & CoverTablesChairsPlanning Notes
50 guests20x20 High Peak + 20x10 Canopy5 round (60in) or 7 rectangular50 white folding chairsEveryone seated under cover: dinner under the high peak, buffet and cake under the canopy.
75 guestsBoth tents + open-air seating8 round or a round/rectangular mix75 chairsAbout 55 to 60 seats fit under our two tents. The remaining tables go open-air; plan a rain fallback such as a covered terrace or garage.
100 guestsVenue or clubhouse recommended10 round (60in)100 chairs (our full inventory)We cannot cover 100 seated guests with tents alone. Book a roofed venue and rent tables, chairs, linens, and sound from us; or run both tents plus open-air seating and accept the weather risk.

Leave the tent's center open during the vals and surprise dance, then let the crew's table layout take over for dinner. Not sure what fits your yard? Text a photo of the space to (786) 789-1900 and we will confirm before you book.

Your Rental Timeline

3 to 4 weeks out: reserve the big pieces. We carry one unit of each tent size, and quinceañera Saturdays compete with graduations and weddings. Lock in the tent, tables, and chairs as soon as the date and guest count are firm. Our booking system requires a 2-day minimum lead time, so last-minute orders are never a sure thing.

2 weeks out: finalize quantities. Once the RSVPs settle, adjust chair and table counts and add the extras: linens, cocktail tables, the Soundboks, concession machines. Adding a few chairs to an existing order is easy; finding a tent two days before the quince is not.

Week of: confirm logistics. We confirm your delivery window, gate access, and surface type (grass takes stakes; concrete and pavers take sandbags). Clear the setup area of patio furniture and cars before the crew arrives.

Day of: we handle it. The crew delivers, installs the tent, and sets tables and chairs to your layout, then returns after the celebration for breakdown. Your job is photos with the quinceañera, not folding chairs at midnight.

Where Miami Families Host Quinces

Backyards: The classic choice, and the reason the 20x20 High Peak exists. It needs a 20x20 footprint of grass, pavers, or concrete plus a little clearance for anchoring. It transforms an ordinary yard into a proper reception space and handles the daily-in-summer 3 p.m. thunderstorm.

Terraces and patios: For condos and townhomes, cocktail tables, folding chairs, and the battery-powered Soundboks (no outlets needed) work where a full tent does not fit.

Community clubhouses: An HOA clubhouse gives you a roof and air conditioning; we supply the tables, chairs, and linens that make it formal. Get your HOA's written approval and reserve the room early; most associations book party dates weeks out.

Miami-Dade parks: We are an approved Miami-Dade Parks vendor and we file the vendor paperwork for you. You reserve the pavilion with the county, and we deliver the tent and seating to match your permit.

Budgeting the Rentals, Honestly

Banquet halls in Miami commonly quote thousands of dollars for a quinceañera reception before food. The backyard route puts that money back in your pocket: for a 50-guest quince, the full rental package (20x20 tent, five round tables, 50 chairs, five floor-length linens, and the Soundboks speaker) runs about $645. Even adding both concession machines keeps the infrastructure under $800. Chairs start at $2 each and tables at $10, so scaling the seating up or down barely moves the total.

A refundable deposit secures your date, delivery and setup are free in our core Miami-Dade service area, and extended zones show a small flat fee at checkout, so the price you see is the price you pay. For the full picture (dress, cake, chambelanes, choreography, photography, and month-by-month planning), read our Miami quinceañera planning guide, also available in Spanish: guía completa para quinceañeras en Miami.

Quinceañera Rental FAQ

Can't find your answer? Call (786) 789-1900

Most backyard quinceañeras come together with four rentals: a tent for shade and rain cover (our 20x20 High Peak Tent anchors the vals and the seated dinner), tables and chairs matched to your guest count, floor-length linens for the formal look, and a speaker for the entrance, the vals, and the surprise dance. Many families add cocktail tables for a mocktail hour and a popcorn or snow cone machine for the younger cousins. Call (786) 789-1900 with your guest count and we will build the exact list with you.

We carry one 20x20 High Peak Tent (400 sq ft, up to 40 seated guests) and one 20x10 Canopy Tent (200 sq ft, up to 20 seated). Combined, that is roughly 55 to 60 guests seated fully under cover. For 75 guests, we pair both tents with open-air seating for the remainder. For 100 or more seated guests entirely under cover, you will need a venue or clubhouse with its own roof; we can still supply all the tables, chairs, linens, and sound.

Yes. The Soundboks 2 speaker rents for $75 per day. It is battery powered (no extension cords across the dance floor), pairs over Bluetooth with any phone, and is loud enough to fill a backyard for the grand entrance, the father-daughter vals, the surprise dance, and open dancing afterward. If you hired a DJ, they typically bring their own system, so the Soundboks is the budget-friendly alternative for families running the playlist themselves.

Yes. Disco Party Rentals is an approved Miami-Dade Parks vendor, and we file the vendor paperwork on your behalf. You handle the park or pavilion reservation with the county; we coordinate the tent, tables, and chairs around your permit. Call us before you lock in the park date so we can confirm equipment availability and site fit for the same day.

Book 3 to 4 weeks ahead. We carry a single unit of each tent size, so popular Saturdays go first, and quinceañeras compete with graduations and weddings for the same spring and fall weekends. Our booking system also enforces a 2-day minimum lead time, so same-week orders are possible for tables and chairs but never guaranteed for tents.

Yes. Delivery, professional setup, and pickup are included at no extra charge across our core Miami-Dade service area. Extended zones carry a small flat delivery fee that is shown at checkout before you pay, never as a surprise afterward. Our crew installs the tent, arranges tables and chairs to your layout, and returns after the celebration to break everything down.

A realistic all-rental budget is about $645: the 20x20 High Peak Tent ($350), five 60-inch round tables ($12 each, $60), 50 white folding chairs ($2 each, $100), five floor-length white tablecloths ($12 each, $60), and the Soundboks 2 speaker ($75). Add a popcorn or snow cone machine for $75 each if you have a crowd of younger cousins. That covers the infrastructure; food, cake, decor, and the dress are separate.
